Whether you have an iPhone or an Android cell phone, they are actually miniature computers and may contain a great deal of information. Chat messages, social media posts, pictures, videos, visits to websites; all can be found with the use of forensic software. Cell phones cannot be write-protected, unlike computers or other external storage devices. However, snapshots in time can be obtained.
Data can reside in many different forms on a computer or cell phone. Many times clients are only interested in obtaining information from a particular point in time. One of the software solutions we use can limit the amount of data recovered to a time frame. Additionally, some information cannot be pulled from a cell phone due to how that data is stored. An example of this is email. We have solutions for documenting email and other difficult-to-obtain information quickly and efficiently.
